The Quality and Accreditation Coordinator is responsiblefor coordinates, develops and implements the accreditation programs (includingbut limited to Chest Pain Accreditation, Cath Lab accreditation, etc) toinclude protocols, guidelines, strategic plans and best practice pathways &leadership of committee collaboration. Compiles cardiovascular volume & qualitydata. Registry site manager for quality registries including ICD, Cath/PCI,Peripheral, Action. Serves as system administrator with technologic expertisein CV systems (i.e. Xper, Heartlab, Cupid) in identifying and resolving issueswhile strategically planning for future optimization.

The incumbentmonitors and ensures compliance with DNV & environment of care standardsincluding the performance of necessary regulatory audits. Reviews, updates andensures compliance with departmental policies & procedures, intervening anddocumenting, when indicated. Serves as a role model who consistently promotes apositive environment that encourages proactive communication, problem solving,effective time management, & accountability for standards, teamwork and excellentcustomer service. Leads & supportsperformance improvement activities, lead accreditation activities and supportsachieving the strategic goals of the organization & the service line.

7. Adheres to safety and infection controlprocedures

8. Compiles cardiovascular volume and quality data.

9. Demonstrates professional growth and developmentin both practice and leadership skills.

10. Shares knowledge with new staff, students throughmentoring

11. Performs other duties as assigned

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Demonstrated leadership abilities; able to workunder stressful situations. Possesses good oral and written communicationskills. A demonstrated ability in interpersonal relationships which enhancescommunication, promotes conflict resolutions, and facilitates staffdevelopment.\

Experience: Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge andskills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients servedin their area.

Licensure: ARRT or RCIS certification or RN licensure, ACLScertification.
